Evaluations

To complete a speech/language evaluation, I will use a variety of tests and measurements in order to develop an overall picture of your child's speech and language abilities.  These might include: play-based assessments, speech/language samples, parent interviews, standardized assessments, stimulability testing, oral-motor assessments.  When the evaluation is complete, a written report will be provided to you detailing the results of the evaluation, including strengths/difficulties and written goals for therapy.  An evaluation is required to begin therapy.

Therapy Location

All therapy will be in the downstairs level therapy room of my home in Mason City, IA.  I also offer teletherapy online services for individuals residing in Iowa.  

Therapy

In addition to traditional speech and language therapy, I also provide feeding therapy, social skills training, and can program and teach assistive alternative communication (AAC) or augmentative communication devices.
