Does Chatterpillars Speech Therapy bill insurance?

I do not bill insurance. However, I can provide you with a superbill of services rendered and you can submit the claim to your insurance company, HSA, or FSA on your own. Chatterpillars Speech Therapy accepts cash, check, or Ivy Pay (credit card or HSA card).

What will therapy be like?

Therapy will most likely be weekly. Targets will be set and worked upon through fun and exciting activities using a range of pictures, objects, books, toys and games. Activities to practice at home may be provided at the end of each session.  

How many sessions will my child need? 

This obviously depends upon the nature and severity of your child’s difficulties. Some minor difficulties may only require a few sessions whereas children with significant needs may require intervention over a longer period of time.

How much does therapy cost?

An evaluation (required to begin therapy) costs $150.  This fee will be waived if there has been a recent evaluation done (by the school district, AEA, a clinic, etc.) within the past 3 months.  Therapy costs $50 for a half hour session, $70 for a 45 minute session, or $90 for a 1 hour session.
