Providing speech therapy services to families in North Iowa

A native of northern Wisconsin, I moved with my family to North Iowa seven years ago. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with my bachelor's degrees in Communication Disorders Education and French in 2008 and from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with my master's degree in Communicative Disorders in 2011. I have 4 years experience working as a SLP in the public school system, 3 years experience working as a tele speech therapist with expat students online, and 7 years experience working as a pediatric speech therapist in the clinic setting. Also, I work for Pearson Clinical norming and standardizing future speech/language evaluative assessments.
I work as a part time speech therapist and full time mom to my 3 children and wife to my husband Luke. I enjoy spending time outside, reading, photography, traveling, playing with my children, and am active in my church and other community groups.
Throughout my years as a speech language pathologist, I've worked with special populations such as individuals with down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, hearing impairments, ADHD, TBI and more. I've evaluated and treated a broad range of speech and language disorders including speech sound disorders, phonological disorders, apraxia of speech, feeding and swallowing (including food chaining for picky eaters), expressive, receptive and social language disorders, and stuttering. I have extensive experience programming and implementing augmentative alternative communication (AAC) devices.
